1. Purpose

These terms and conditions define the rights and obligations of the parties in connection with the remote or direct booking (internet, telephone or email) of services offered by our establishment, whose contact details are specified in the booking confirmation document. They govern all the steps necessary for booking and managing the booking between the contracting parties.

The customer acknowledges having read and accepted these general terms and conditions of sale, as well as the terms and conditions of sale for the reserved rate, accessible on our booking platform or communicated during the direct booking process. These general terms and conditions apply to all bookings, whether made online, by telephone, or by email.

2. Reservation

The customer chooses the services offered on our booking platform or directly from the establishment. They acknowledge having read the nature, purpose, and booking terms of the services and having obtained all the necessary information to make their booking with full knowledge of the facts.

The client is solely responsible for choosing the services and ensuring they meet their needs. We cannot be held liable in this regard. The reservation is deemed accepted by the client upon completion of the booking process.

Please note: Meal provision (breakfast, picnic baskets) is strictly reserved for stays in guest rooms.

3. Booking Process

Online: via the digital booking voucher accessible on our booking platform. By phone or email: directly with the establishment.

The reservation is considered formed upon receipt of the online booking voucher or written confirmation (by email) from the establishment for direct bookings.

The customer agrees to provide accurate and up-to-date information. The booking process includes, where applicable, reviewing and accepting the general terms and conditions and the terms of sale for the reserved rate, as well as the possible payment of a deposit.

4. Booking confirmation

• Online: The acknowledgement of receipt is sent by email and summarizes the contract offer, the services reserved, the prices, the terms and conditions of sale relating to the selected rate, the reservation date and the information relating to after-sales service.
• By phone or email: The establishment confirms the reservation by email, summarizing the same information.

5. Cancellation or modification by the client

In accordance with Article L. 121-21-8 12° of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to reservations of accommodation services.

The tables below outline the standard cancellation policy applied by default to our bed and breakfasts and holiday rentals. Certain specific rates may have different conditions, which will be detailed at the time of booking.

5.1. Standard conditions – bed and breakfast

Between 22 and 16 days: 25% of the amount
Between 15 and 9 days: 50% of the amount
Between 8 and 3 days: 75% of the amount
Between 2 and 0 days: 100% of the amount

5.2. Standard conditions – cottages / holiday rentals

Between 90 and 21 days: 25% of the amount
Between 20 and 9 days: 50% of the amount
Between 8 and 3 days: 75% of the amount
Between 2 and 0 days: 100% of the amount

Prepaid or non-refundable reservations are subject to the specific terms and conditions of the reserved rate. In the event of a no-show (failure to arrive without prior cancellation), the deposit or the full amount may be retained according to the terms and conditions of the reserved rate. Any arrival after the end of the communicated check-in time slot is considered a no-show. In this case, the financial conditions applicable to no-shows will apply. All reservations are non-transferable and cannot be assigned to a third party without the explicit consent of the establishment.

6. Consumption of the service

Arrival and departure times are communicated to the client before their stay and are part of the conditions for the execution of the service.

The client agrees to respect the agreed arrival and departure times. In case of delay or unforeseen circumstances, it is their responsibility to inform the establishment as soon as possible. Whenever possible, and when the establishment's organization allows, a solution will be considered to ensure their arrival under the best possible conditions.

Without prior notification, if the guest arrives after the agreed check-in time slot, the establishment cannot guarantee the presence of the owners or immediate access to the accommodation. The reservation may then be considered a no-show, without the guest being entitled to a refund or compensation.

On the day of departure, the accommodation must be vacated at the agreed time. Any unauthorized late departure may result in additional charges corresponding to the operational constraints incurred (waiting time, schedule reorganization, additional cleaning fees or, where the situation justifies, the cost of an additional night).

The owners, who live on site and personally welcome travelers and prepare accommodations, thank their guests for respecting agreed times and informing them without delay of any unforeseen circumstances.

The number of people indicated at the time of booking corresponds to the number of occupants expected for the reserved accommodation. The customer agrees not to exceed this number without the prior and explicit agreement of the establishment.

Any additional person not declared at the time of booking, including a child or baby, may result in the refusal of access to the accommodation, without compensation or refund.

Damage and deterioration: The client is responsible for all damage caused by themselves, their companions, or anyone under their care, to the accommodation and its facilities. They agree to inform the establishment of any damage observed or caused during their stay. The client may be charged for any necessary repairs, replacements, or restoration work.

Any behavior contrary to good morals or public order may result in the expulsion of the customer without compensation or refund.

Respect for the premises and tranquility: the client agrees to adopt a respectful attitude towards the establishment, its equipment, other possible occupants and the neighborhood. Noise disturbances or any behavior that disrupts the peace and quiet of the premises may result in the interruption of the stay, without refund or compensation.

Smoking and vaping: Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all accommodations and indoor areas of the establishment. Any violation may result in charges for necessary repairs or specific cleaning.

The customer may be asked to complete a police registration form upon arrival, in accordance with current regulations. Identification may be requested.

The customer agrees to abide by the Internal Regulations. Failure to comply may result in expulsion without compensation or refund.

The client agrees to return all keys, badges, remote controls, or any other access devices provided during their stay. Any loss or damage may result in a charge corresponding to the replacement costs.

Pets: Pets are not allowed.

Swimming pool: access depends on weather, sanitary or technical conditions. No refund or compensation is due in case of inaccessibility. Use of the pool and other facilities is at the client's own risk.

Personal insurance: It is recommended that the client have insurance covering damages or accidents during the stay.

Information regarding the risks to which the establishment is exposed can be consulted on the official Géorisques website, and is available from the establishment upon simple request.

7. Responsibility

The photographs and descriptions presented aim to provide accurate information about the services offered. However, changes or adjustments may occur, without affecting the essential characteristics of the stay.

The establishment cannot be held responsible for the non-execution or poor execution of the reservation in the event of force majeure, due to a third party or the client (e.g., unavailability of the internet network, payment problem). Any irregular or fraudulent booking or payment may result in cancellation at the customer's expense.

8. Complaints

Any complaint relating to the performance of services must be addressed in writing to the establishment within eight days of the end of the stay.

9. Price

Prices are inclusive of all taxes, in the establishment's currency, and valid for the specified period. Additional services may not be included. Local and tourist taxes are payable on site. Any changes to VAT or new legal taxes will be automatically reflected in the prices.

10. Payment

The customer provides their bank details as a booking guarantee or pays a deposit according to the conditions of the reserved rate.

Online: payment can be made via our secure platform (Stripe, elloha.com). By phone or email: the deposit payment can be made by bank check or other means agreed with the establishment.

The balance is payable on arrival, unless otherwise specified. In case of no-show, the establishment may charge the client the amount due according to the terms and conditions of sale applicable to the reserved rate.

In the event of departure from the establishment without payment of sums due for the stay or additional services consumed, the client authorizes the establishment to use the payment guarantee provided at the time of booking and to debit the bank card provided, up to the limit of the sums remaining due.

11. Respect for privacy

The personal data collected is used for processing reservations and monitoring the service. It may be communicated to third parties necessary for the execution of the contract (booking platforms, payment providers).

Bank details transmitted for online payment may be transferred to countries outside the EU if necessary, with the customer's consent.

12. Convention on Evidence

The confirmed reservation and the bank details provided constitute an electronic signature with the same legal value as a handwritten signature. Computerized records are considered proof of communications, orders, and payments.

13. Force majeure

Force majeure is any external, unforeseeable, and insurmountable event preventing the performance of contractual obligations. Each party shall bear its own costs and shall not be held liable.

14. Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory protective provisions applicable in the consumer's country of residence.

15. Completeness

These General Terms and Conditions, the terms of sale for the reserved rate, and the booking confirmation or request constitute the entire agreement between the parties. No terms and conditions of the customer may be incorporated into these General Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between the booking confirmation and these General Terms and Conditions, the provisions of the confirmation shall prevail with respect to the obligation in question.
