HEALTH CHARTER

Measures and recommendations for the safety of all

Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, we have implemented health security measures.
These measures have been defined according to the recommendations of the health authorities (French government and WHO) and adapted to our activity.

The whole of our guest house, whether inside or outside, is cleaned very regularly and scrupulously. The contact surfaces are disinfected several times a day. Household linen is washed in accordance with health recommendations. Meals are organized in compliance with the required hygiene standards and recommended safety distances. We detail the measures taken in this document.

Reminder: children are under the responsibility of the parents during the whole stay.



WELCOMING HOSTS

  • Respect the safety distance of more than a meter, do not shake hands.

  • Handing over of the keys, disinfected beforehand.

  • Recommendation: avoid touching the switches in the corridors and stairs, the staircase banister, the door handles except those of the bedrooms.

  • Hydroalcoholic gel is available in the entrance hall and at the swimming pool for hand disinfection.

  • Emergency numbers (hospitals...) can be found in our Welcome Booklet.


STAYS IN BED AND BREAKFAST
The rooms
Between each reservation:
  • The rooms are ventilated for at least 1 hour.

  • The bed linen is washed at minimum 60 ° C with a professional disinfectant detergent and ironed.

  • The bathroom linen is washed at 60 ° C minimum with a professional disinfectant detergent and passed to the dryer.

  • Are cleaned and disinfected with suitable products (see sheet on page 4):

    • The bathroom and the toilet

    • Bathroom accessories and hair dryer

    • Furniture, hangers, door and window handles, shutter latches, switches

    • The grounds

  • The curtains are ventilated and sprayed with a suitable disinfectant.

  • Certain decorative elements (cushions, books, etc.) have been removed.

During the stay:
  • We are equipped with masks and gloves for cleaning, and we thank our hosts for not leaving anything on the ground in order to limit contact with personal effects.

  • The bathroom linen is changed every 2 days for stays of 3 nights and more and the bed linen every 3 days.

The common areas
  • The common areas are ventilated every day for at least 30 minutes.

  • Contact surfaces such as door handles, switches and the stair rail are daily disinfected.

  • Tables and chairs are disinfected before each use.

  • The floors are cleaned and disinfected daily with suitable products.


Outdoor furniture
  • All outdoor furniture is disinfected daily.

  • The mechanisms of the parasols are disinfected daily.

Table d'hôtes / Breakfasts
  • When preparing meals we are equipped with masks and gloves.

  • Worktops and materials are cleaned and disinfected at the end of each service.

  • Depending on the weather, the service is done indoors or on the terrace. The areas dedicated to meals are large enough to respect the safety distances.

  • We ask our hosts to respect the distance of more than one meter from other hosts. It is not possible to have a common table.

  • If the 3 rooms are occupied, breakfasts and meals are taken at different times. These times are specified in advance with our hosts.

  • The products are presented on the tables, no product is offered in buffet form.We ask guests to consume only the products from their table.

  • We apply the hygiene standards specific to catering, Grande Restauration license (HACCPP n ° 91 0021 05 2012).



DEPARTURE FROM THE GUESTS
  • The maximum departure time is 11:00 am to allow a thorough cleaning which guarantees the safety of our guests.

  • The keys will be deposited in a box provided at the reception.

  • Payment in cash (including tourist tax): cash is deposited in a box, and we ask the hosts to provide the extra.

  • Payment by credit card: the case is disinfected after each use.

 
GITE STAYS

Between each reservation:
  • All rooms in the gîte are ventilated for at least 1 hour.

  • The bed linen is washed at 60 ° C minimum with a professional detergent and ironed.

  • The bathroom linen is washed at 60 ° C minimum with a professional disinfectant detergent and passed to the dryer.

  • Are cleaned and disinfected with suitable products:

    • Kitchen and appliances

    • The bathroom and the toilet

    • Bathroom accessories and hair dryer

    • In all rooms: furniture, door and window handles, shutter latches, switches

    • TV, decoder, stereo, remote controls

    • The banister and the stair railing

    • The bin

    • The grounds

    • Fabrics (sofa, armchair, curtains)

  • Before each use, we recommend placing the dishes and kitchen utensils in the dishwasher.

  • Certain decorative elements have been removed.

  • At the end of the stay, the tenants will observe the usual cleaning rules described in our welcome booklet (dishes made, garbage cans emptied, etc.) and will deposit bed and bathroom linen in the bag provided for this purpose in the gîte.


For arrival, departure and common areas, the same measures as for guest rooms apply.

We respect the recommendations of the health authorities (WHO, HCSPA):
  • Do not vacuum (we use a microfiber mop)
  • Do not shake laundry, fabrics
  • Washing clothes at over 56 ° C for at least 15 minutes
  • Use of bleach diluted with 0.5% active chlorine
  • Use of disinfectant cleaning products, including those based on ethanol (household alcohol)
Disinfectant wipes are available for extra cleaning.
