Le Mas des Sages

The Mas des Sages offers 3 bed & breakfast rooms and a holiday cottage for all your holidays, on your own, as a couple, with your family or with friends. Whether to relax or to discover the beautiful region of Pays d'Uzès Pont du Gard in Languedoc-Roussillon, there is a wide range of activities in the area.

Latest news and not the least: we are now the happy holders of the European Ecolabel! Sustainable tourism to contribute to the protection of resources and the planet. 

Ideally located between Provence, Cévennes and Camargues, near the Duchy of Uzès and the Pont du Gard, our guest house is a good starting point to discover the Gard.

In fine weather, our garden and our swimming pool allow you to bask in the sun, or in the shade of a fig tree or a parasol.
Possibility to rent canoes and bikes nearby.

If you stay with us in a guest room (only!)  breakfast is free and it is possible to reserve picnic baskets for lunch and table d'hôtes for dinner on Friday, Sunday and Monday evening. 

New : charging station for electric vehicles (all models, including Tesla).

Our guest rooms

Each of our three guest rooms, including a family suite, have a private bathroom. The rooms are spacious and the bedding is of high quality. Breakfast is offered, and served outside when the weather is good enough (and that is very often!).
The guest rooms can be rented as a whole, and host 8 persons. 
 

A guarantee of seriousness and a warm welcome : our guest rooms are labelled Chambre d'hôtes Référence, Qualité Tourisme and Qualité Tourisme Occitanie Sud de France, Accueil Vélo and now also European Ecolabel.

If you stay with us in a guest room, it is possible to reserve a table d'hôtes dinner on Friday, Sunday and Monday evening. 

Our holiday rental

Our cottage is ideal for 4 people, for your short and long stays. The cottage is housed on the 1st floor of our farmhouse, in the old silkworm farm. It is air conditioned and has all the comfort for a successful holiday. Labelled Meublé de Tourisme *** and 3 épis Gîtes de France, Accueil Vélo and European Ecolabel.

You may also privatize our guest rooms, in a holiday home for 8 persons. Then the aisle is entirely yours, with a well equipped kitchen and a living room, with goes to the terrass and the garden. 

Both holiday rentals have their own dedicated space outside in the garden, and a private entry. If you rent both, you can spend your vacations with up to 12 persons.

Please note that breakfast, picnic baskets and dinner (table d'hôtes) are only available if you stay with us in a B&B guestroom.

Old farm house from the XVIIIth century

The Mas des Sages, bnb and holiday cottage in the heart of Aubussargues, is an old farm house of the 18th century, renovated while keeping its authentic spirit. We saved everything that could be saved, such as the cement tile floors, the interior and exterior stairs, or the old wine vat at the back of the house. The interior is equipped with furniture coming from our families, or found on flea markets, giving our house a particular atmosphere, a little out of the norms. If you like old stones, the atmosphere of the South of France and Occitanie, you will certainly appreciate our guest house.
 

What to do in the area  

The small village of Aubussargues, in the Uzège, is surrounded by garrigue, vineyards and forest. There are many hiking trails in the area and you can go for a walk or mountain bike directly from our place. The Gardon and Cèze offer outdoor activities such as canoeing and via ferrata, or simply swimming. Between equestrian centers, manades, golf courses, wine cellars, good restaurants, the market of Uzès, the Haribo sweet museum, the arenas of Nîmes, the feria, and so much more, there is more than enough to delight young and old.
