🏡 About Mas des Sages
Where is Le Mas des Sages located?
We are located in the heart of the charming village of Aubussargues, about 10 minutes from Uzès and 20 minutes from the Pont du Gard , in the Pays d'Uzès Pont du Gard .
How to get to the house (car, train, airport)?
Access is easy by car. The nearest train stations are in Nîmes, Avignon, and Alès, and several airports (Nîmes, Montpellier, Marseille) are accessible by car. Buses run to Uzès.
Is there a parking lot?
Yes: public parking near the farmhouse.
Is the room separate?
Our guest rooms are located in a wing of the renovated farmhouse, with access to the terrace, garden and swimming pool.
How many people can you accommodate?
We offer 3 guest rooms (including a family suite for up to 4 people) as well as a detached cottage for 4 people. That makes 12 people in total.
Is the house suitable for people with reduced mobility?
Unfortunately, wheelchair access is not available due to the historic architecture of the farmhouse.

What equipment is included?
Each room includes:

Is breakfast included ?
Breakfast is included in the stay* in BnB and served, weather permitting, on the garden terrace.
Can we use a kitchen?
The kitchen is not accessible for the guest rooms, but our cottage has a fully equipped kitchen (if this type of accommodation is booked).
Is there a television in the rooms?
For the rooms, we've chosen to prioritize peace, quiet, and a chance to disconnect. Wi-Fi is, of course, available. The cottage itself has a television.
Does the house have air conditioning?
Our guest rooms are not air-conditioned. In summer, the coolness can be maintained thanks to the thick walls of the farmhouse and the shutters, provided they are kept closed during the day. During periods of intense heat or heatwaves, however, the temperature can rise, as in any old stone building in the South.
The cottage for 4 people, meanwhile, is fully air-conditioned for your comfort.

What time is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served in the morning, between 8:30 and 10:00.
Do you offer picnic baskets?
Yes! Picnic baskets filled with local products can be reserved in advance for your outings.
Where to dine near Mas des Sages?
We don't offer meals, but several excellent restaurants are just a short drive from the farmhouse, particularly in Uzès and the surrounding villages. We'd be happy to advise you and recommend our favorite spots based on your preferences (terrace, local cuisine, a friendly atmosphere, or something more gourmet).
🕒 Reservations & opening hours
What time can we arrive (check-in)?
Arrival is possible between 4pm and 8pm.
Until what time can we leave (check-out)?
Check-out is in the morning before 11am for bed and breakfasts, and before 10am for the gîte.

We accept bank cards, French checks, holiday vouchers, cash.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation policies vary depending on the type of booking. Please refer to your booking confirmation or our terms and conditions.

Are pets allowed?
No, animals are not allowed.
Are children allowed?
Yes, the establishment is family-friendly. Equipment for young children can be provided upon request.
Is it allowed to smoke?
No, all rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted in outdoor areas.
🌿 Experience & Environment
Are there any shops within walking distance?
The village of Aubussargues is very quiet and has no shops. The nearest shops, restaurants and supermarkets are a few minutes away by car, notably in Uzès.
Is the swimming pool heated?
No, the pool is not heated. Its temperature therefore depends on the weather and the season.
What can we visit in the surrounding area?
The location is ideal for exploring Uzès, the Pont du Gard , local markets, hiking in the garrigue, the Camargue, Provence, and even the Mediterranean Sea. More information can be found on our "Around Us" page.
